My stay at Kilauea Lodge was absolutely delightful! The rooms were spacious and had a gas fireplace. The bed was really comfortable, and I loved the beautiful decorations and the great balcony with an even greater view. Plus, there was a cozy chair and the cutest cat named Meatloaf to keep me company.

The location was perfect for our planned adventures, close to Hawaii National Park and the volcanoes. It was easy to return after dark and see the glow of the volcano. The lodge was well maintained, and we felt safe despite the recent activity in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully traditional Hawaiian with a lovely fireplace, intricate four-poster bed, and a cozy seating area. However, the noise protection was a bit lacking. The service was exceptional, with helpful, friendly, and efficient staff who even took a special Polaroid picture to commemorate our 'baby moon. ' The location was ideal for visiting the National Park, romantic and peaceful. The dining experience was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options. Overall, a great value for the experience provided.

Staying at the resort was a lovely experience with its leafy and nice grounds and the convenience of being close to the Rim Restaurant and Volcano National Park. However, the room change due to the lava flow was a bit concerning.
